Grace Eyre is a charity that works with adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to support individuals to develop their skills for greater independence, play a meaningful role in their local community and live happy and fulfilled lives. Shared Lives is most easily understood as being like a fostering service but for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs and we match them with our Carers who have vacancies in their home.
In order to become a Carer you will need to have at least one spare bedroom and a commitment to make a difference in a vulnerable adults life. Experience is not essential as you will receive full training. Shared Lives Carers are paid between £400.00 and £600.00 a week for each person they support.
